Returning To School 04/01/21

We hope you all had a fantastic and safe Christmas.

Following tonight's announcement from the DfE, Delta will be following guidance and will be operating as follows:

From Monday 4th the school asks that any parent/guardian who is a key worker or has a vulnerable child contact us on the main school line to establish a timetable for your child from Tuesday 5th. For the week beginning 4th only Year 11s will be taught remotely.

Year 11's will be asked to return to school on Monday 11th where they will be taught their regular timetable, Year 10 and 9 students will access remote learning from this week.

Unless anything else changes we expect all students will return fully on Monday 18th Jan.

IMPORTANT: As of any return to school for our students Delta has taken advice and is making face coverings MANDATORY in all areas including the classroom for both students and staff.

Please can any parents/guardians who believe their child to be exempt from wearing a face covering contact us by telephone within the first week so that we can confirm this.

As always we are taking every precaution to make sure the school is as Covid secure as possible for the return of students.

There will be a further update next week to explain in detail our plans for rolling out regular testing of both staff and students to ensure the school can operate as normally as possible at this time.
