Careers Guidance
At Delta Independent School, we are committed to helping every student prepare for their future. We work in partnership with DurhamWorks, a County Durham programme that supports young people by providing impartial careers advice, guidance, and opportunities to progress into education, employment, apprenticeships, or training.
Working alongside DurhamWorks, our dedicated Careers Worker provides personalised one-to-one support, helping students to:
Explore their interests, strengths, and career aspirations.
Make informed choices about further education and training.
Understand different career pathways, including apprenticeships, college courses, and employment opportunities.
Develop employability skills such as CV writing, interview preparation, and job searching.
Build confidence and set realistic goals for the future.
Our aim is to ensure that every student leaves Delta Independent School with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to take their next step successfully.
