Return to school

Following government guidance around partial re-opening of secondary schools to year 10's. Early next week all parents of students in year 10 will be contacted regarding your child coming back to Delta for a half day per week. There are strict measures in place within the school including 2m markers around the school so students and staff can adhere to the social distancing guidelines. Students will be expected to use hand sanitiser upon entering the building and when entering classrooms. Classrooms have been set up for between 2 and 3 students per room and these students will remain in this 'bubble' with their allocated teacher for the duration of the time within school. Each class will have their own allocated break time with their staff member. We must stress that if a student shows any signs of illness they MUST NOT come to school. If a child falls ill whilst at school they will be taken into an isolated area until they can be safely picked up. Staff will be continuing with welfare calls next week, so if any questions arise as to your child's return to school please don't hesitate to ask.
